However, this book is not for you if your aim is to bake bread for a family with children and you have a hectic lifestyle. In my experience, frequent baking of healthy bread for children's consumption requires more emphasis on how to fit rising times between school runs, shopping, home management and walking the dog; plenty of simple facts and uncomplicated recipes backed up with user friendly tips. Dan's book is more love affair material, to be taken into the kitchen then to lock the door...... All the better for concentrating on jars of sourdough, and cooing over seasonal ingredients incorporated into wizard potions of grains and seeds.
