Apple Kuchen
1 Batch of sweet, enriched dough - click here
For the topping:
30g brown sugar
5ml cinnamon
60g marzipan
4 apples (these can be exchanged for plums, peaches or berries)
30g melted butter
Shape the dough into an oiled springform tin, 23cm/round, sprinkle with half the sugar, spice and grated marzipan, then arrange the prepared fruit on top. Brush with butter and sprinkle with remaining sugar. Leave to rise for 10-20mins then bake @ 190ºc for 20-25mins
